Where should I start very polite owner good ambience the food is excellent especially the half chicken and the spaetzle no long waiting times although it was busy I 4 out of 5 people at the table are full and at a low price

We were there and ate. Uniquely awful !! A sausage salad where everything was really ready. Packaged sausage, cheese as well, finished dressing on top and the highlight of the top is a quarter glass of donated pickles. My opposite number a cordon bleu to run away. Half full plates were also given back at the neighboring table. It's a shame, we used to be there more often. But not anymore.

Last year I was eating with a friend in the old gas station and held back on a rating. The food was below average and the ambience was not clean. In summary: unspectacular. After what happened to us there yesterday, I would now like to describe my experiences: There were three of us in gardening. Many places were already occupied, the tables in the shade are scarce (too few and poorly positioned parasols) and accordingly very popular. After inquiring to a waitress if there was room for 3 people, she informed a little gentleman about my request. This little gentleman, probably the shift supervisor or similar, seemed completely overwhelmed with the situation and only needed time to think about it, which he replied to me loudly. But when, after a short pause, he went with me towards the table, the little gentleman and I witnessed a young couple who arrived clearly AFTER me and my companion, right in front of us at the last table still available in the Put shadow. Completely overwhelmed, the little man asked the young couple if they had reserved? After the couple said no, the little gentleman just smiled, said: "Oh, oh ... uh yes hmm ..." and sent me and my companion to one of the blazing hot tables in the sun. When I pointed out that my companion and I were actually asking for a place in front of the young couple and should therefore be fairly given the table, the little gentleman seemed to take this personally and replied only: "You must understand us too." I still wonder what exactly I need to understand? After 5 minutes in the scorching hot sun and very annoyed about how to deal with guests, my companion and I decided to leave the old tank. And when I told him that we were going now because we didn't want to be treated like this, the little gentleman said goodbye with a warm: "And bye !!!" Such behavior is not appropriate towards guests / customers and underlines the overall very unprofessional character of the old tank.

Service good, food rather below average for the inner city price level. Drink prices for the location also sporty. Repetition factor rather low.

We picked up chicken with fries, the food was delicious only the prices should be considered .....

For the first time today after the renovation and change of ownership, we were once again in the old tank in BL - Engstlatt and were really only pleasantly surprised. The toilets were very well renovated and converted, there were four of us on site and ordered our food: 1/2 chicken with side salad, then 1/2 chicken with french fries, then 1 pc burger with french fries and then 1 swabian onion roast with french fries and side salad, and all dishes were from Price / performance ratio absolutely good and tasty, for this the 5 stars gerne

The staff and the owners very warm and courteous !!!! Price performance is fair. The burgers and salads are my personal highlight on the menu. I wish the new owner all the best for the future. You have convinced us !! :)

Simple but ingenious! Actually, the betrayal of personal insider tips is a double-edged thing. ;-) Simple card, but what you get is great. Legendary is half the chicken with chips. The owner is quaint and very friendly. Totally fits the old tank, which used to be a gas station on the former B27. This is now right next door and therefore the old tank can be easily reached from further away.
